What is NOVAtime?

NOVAtime is the new time-keeping and PTO management application implemented by the University in the Fall of 2012. This application supports improved, efficient services and unifies all time and attendance activities for all Reynolda Campus staff employees as well as students.

Upcoming Transition: Paid Time Off (PTO) Tracking

As the University prepares to implement Workday, staff should continue to submit requests for PTO through June 29 in NOVAtime. Beginning July 2, staff will request PTO in Workday only, as NOVAtime will be inactive. Staff scheduled to work the weekend of June 30 – July 1 may retroactively submit PTO in Workday after it launches July 2. Although NOVAtime will allow you to enter time off requests for all of 2018, requests for time off after June 29 will not be imported into the Workday system.

Scheduled Downtime

Saturday mornings from 7:00a – 12:00p is the I/S normal maintenance window. During this time, NOVAtime may not be accessible. Therefore, users are encouraged to refrain from using the system during this time or scheduling any reports to be generated.
